Some of Thunderbird's keyboard shortcuts are at

http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/keyboard

...but this "is a list of the most common keyboard shortcuts in
Thunderbird, and the equivalents in Outlook Express." If I copy and
paste it into Notepad, I can't figure out how to get rid of the Outlook
Express info and convert the rest into concise, conventional text.

What I require is a list in plain text of all Thunderbird's keyboard
shortcuts, suitable for printing out and keeping close at hand while
using Thunderbird.

(It would preferable if uppercase letters were accurately represented,
instead of by "Shift," and if "Ctrl" were indicated by a caret.)

I believe that although the behaviour used to be for upper and lower
case letters, the keys now correctly respond only to the shift key
rather than the caps lock key.

That's interesting.
